Whoever decided to leave these new programs and navis within his hearing range was clearly an idiot or wanted him to get annoyed at listening to their whining and bemoaning their fate and woe is me my user or operator doesn’t love me enough…He wasn’t going to get anything done to begin with so if he let out his frustration and terrorized the idiots into shutting up it was a civic service really.

“Oh for the Powers the created us, your pity party is completely a waste of time and effort to even listen to.”

He had to agree in this moment, even just silently that Little Flynn may be on to something in preferring doors that needed to be manually opened. There was something satisfying about slamming said door open with a loud crash as he stalked into the room the idiots were in. Hopefully the slight voxels scattering off his singed shouldered from that last explosion aided and didn’t hinder the attempts to be intimidating as he glared at the now silent programs.

“Whine all you want, I’m certain I can top whatever supposedly bad thing your user did to you without any effort. In fact why don’t I just do that right now and end this imbecilic competition all of you are doing because your spoiled little lives clearly have endured such great bouts of hardship. Of course, because being ignored for a day is far worse than being a biodigital clone created using nothing more than the digitized DNA of your operator and user as well as unstable raw data of a new and experimental system. Then without an alpha, let alone a beta stage to get used to being the first of such a melding I was told to be an Admin of a highly unstable and experimental system without any back up or fail safes in place. Add a directive of completely impossibility because who in their right mind gives a newly written program a directive of “Build the Perfect System” thinks such is a good idea? Oh here’s a consolation prize as well the only help you’ll get is a security navi who is just as quick to admit that nowhere in his code is there any administrative capability, but guess what this is what you get to work with.”

He was pretty certain by the way one or two of the idiots had flinched and the fact that the ISO that did a lot of architecture work had just did the gait of one about to find security to distract him that he likely was starting to use the hissing low voice that may or may not be fully hinged and the slight blurring in his visual feeds also meant he was doing the “freaky eye flashing things” as Little Flynn called it. Good maybe they’ll actually be so terrified they’ll think twice before crying like a beta user.

“All the while having this directive you would never be able to fulfill but you are trying to do so burning and etching even deeper into your very code because it was the only purpose your user thought you deserved to have. Then as things progress and the system gains the expected errors and problems of a new system and of a system being continuously tweaked and changed by a user gleefully playing with his abilities like he’ll lose them you start to realize a new dimension of bad in being created from the very system your user is playing with. My entire state of being was tied to that system not just by being its administrator, but by being created partially from it. I was literally going insane the more the system began to fail and I couldn’t stop it because even as an admin there was only so much I could do when the things it needed could only be imported or exported by my user. A user that so happened to decide to abandon me in favor of metaphorically molesting the ISOs that had just came into existence and were causing even more stress on the system and thus on me as well.”

That was still a sore point and likely would never not be a sore point.

“When you get even half of that and spend what little bit of sanity you have left hoping that the security idiot who is also trying to keep the system from going even further into a cascading failure will notice something off enough for it to ping his threat parameters and thus derezz you so you can be free of it all you can come back and try this contest again. Until then mute it and take your pity party out of my lab.”


Tron can get grouchy at him all he wanted about mentally scarring the tourists, he should know better then to let them wander into his lab.
